## Abstract The study of the inhibiting effect of certain pyridine and aniline derivatives on the corrosion of copper in persulphate solutions enables the compounds to be arranged in the following series of decreasing inhibiting power; 2,6‐lutidine – 2‐picoline – pyridine – m‐anisidine – p‐phenetid
