Static sealing
showed no loss of strength after subjection to motor oil and a 50/50 water glycol mixture, for 1000 hours at 87 "C.
Loctite 5 11 has the DVGW 86-O 1 German approval for use with gas appliances. BS6956 part 7 for gas approval and BS 6920 approval by the Water Research Council are currently being sought.
