β¦ Synopsis
Sttspcnskms of lycopodium dust in air ~ere burned as small laminar flames. Tile burning velocity was determined as a limetion of radi:d disl:mce from the Ilame axis, It is shown that Ilow phenomena affect the shape, stabilization and burning velocity of the Ilanlc. Very little heat was transferred by radiation to the unburnt suspension.
