S'il n'est qu'un serf dans le monde technologique de Proton, Stile est devenu l'adepte Bleu dans le monde fantastique de Phaze où règne le surnaturel. Passant de l'un à l'autre de ces univers parallèles à travers un mystérieux « rideau », il lui faut à présent mener de front une double quête :
Franchir à Proton les étapes du grand Tournoi qui décidera de son avenir au fil des éliminatoires ; découvrir à Phaze l'ennemi inconnu – un autre adepte peut-être, mais lequel ? – qui cherche obstinément à le détruire.
Auprès de lui : d'un côté Sheen, robot, femme et amante ; de l'autre la licorne Neysa. Et puis la dame Bleue, si désirable mais si lointaine. Inaccessible ?
