## Abstract Actinomycin D or proflavine which are known to intercalate within the helix of double‐stranded DNA (dsDNA) are used as label‐free control to unequivocally prove complementary DNA hybridization by means of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Based on a carefully designed interf
