In these animals, lymphoid leukemias appeared at the age of 5 months, as opposed to 8 months in unirradiated mice. Injection of isologous bone marrow after the last irradiation had no influence on the accelerated appearance of the leukemias. Irradiation of the anterior half of the body only was also
