Chapters 5, 6 and 7 are concerned with testing for photoallergenicity., These chapters contain a wealth of practical information on the factors to be considered in the actual conduct of guinea pig testing. The outline format for describing the various test methods permits easy comparison of one method to the next. In addition Maurer states his opinion of the strengths, weaknesses and applicability of each method in testing specific classes of chemicals such as topical drugs versus industrial products. The chapters on
