Coupling Products from Diazonium Salts and 2-Alkoxy-1,6-methano[lO]annulenes and X-Ray Structure Analysis of one Example

The synthesis of 5ac by coupling reactions of 2-methoxy-l,6-methano[l0]annulene (3) with the diazonium salts 4a-c as well as the spectroscopic properties of 5 a -c are described. An X-ray structure analysis of 5a is reported.
