We developed an interactive and menu-driven computer program to help investigators design and analyze phase II cancer clinical trials with a group sequential method, namely the sequential probability ratio test or the triangular test. Based on the values selected for the parameters of the trial, the

โฆ Synopsis
Early termination of clinical trials is advisable if initial evidence indicates the treatment under study is ineffective. Predictive probability methods permit the construction of multistage studies that allow for early termination while still controlling overall false-positive (declare an ineffective treatment effective) and false-negative (declare an effective treatment ineffective) error rates. An interactive computer program known as KSTAGE has been developed that aids the researcher in designing such studies.
