✦ Synopsis
therapist and pupil. Findings are presented from parental sources as well as from the counselors, teachers, and the participating boys.
Results of ihis study tend to support replication in other school systems. A school psychologist who has a background of research know-how, administrative talent and an interest in providing therapeutic principles within a school framework, and, above all, is not hung up over who is "qualified" to do therapy, should be able to mount a duplicate program. This is an important alternative means to provide help to disturbed children within the educational setting.
Reading this book will be a rewarding experience for those who seek to mount a viable program of help and who want to do more than present the teacher with a list of recommendations about a child.
