## Abstract The kinetics of the catalytic and noncatalytic hydration of propylene oxide were studied in a continuous reactor. Both the catalytic and noncatalytic reaction were studied over a temperature range of 100ยฐ to 300ยฐF. The feed ratios ranged from 2.5 to 10 lb. water/lb. propylene oxide. In

The kinetics and products of the decompositon of 9-diazofluorene by copper(I1) tetrafluoroborate in acetonitrile solvent have been investigated. The reaction is first order with respect to both 9-diazofluorene and copper(I1) tetrafluoroborate. A reaction mechanism has also been proposed.
