The kinetics and products of the decomposition of 9-diazofluorene by tris ( pbromophenyl) aminium hexachloroantimonate in acetonitrile solvent has been investigated. The reaction is first order with respect to the concentration of both 9-dimfluorene and trzs (p-bromophenyl) aminium hexachloroantimonate. A reaction mechanism has also been proposed.
