The reaction kinetics of aqueous oxidation of H 2 S by is investigated at 25ЊC ϩ3 Fe by spectrophotometric method. The study conducted at various reactant concentrations and pH revealed that the reaction proceeds according to complex-series reactions involving polysulfides as intermediates. The reac
