A general technique for obtaining dispersion relations in the mass variable is proposed. The method is used in order to translate the low-energy theorems valid for "mathematical pions" of zero four-momentum into physically meaningful expressions for real pions. Our procedure is explicitly applied to

β¦ Synopsis
A fully ionized many-species plasma in quasi-equilibrium is considered. The effect of a magnetic field on the functional dependence of the linearized two-particle correlation function on the linearized one-particle distribution function is explicity evaluated. A dispersion relation is obtained that takes into account the effect of the correlations.

An imaging sequence based on a spin-echo train has been developed which is free from geometric distortions in the imaging plane due to main field inhomogeneity. Such inhomogeneities, and chemical shifts, cause only a displacement in the selected slice, which is minimized by the use of high gradient
