Single and multiple ionization of C 60 in collisions with fast (v = 9.7 a.u.) O q+ ions have been studied. Relative cross sections for production of C 1รพ 60 to C 4รพ 60 have been measured. The intensity ratios of double-to-single ionization agree very well with a model based on giant dipole plasmon r
