β¦ Synopsis
When Goldie is tasked with finalizing the picnic plans for an entire community, she finds herself dashing around town chasing down the details. Happily, she has no shortage of ideas as regards the possible amusements.
Unfortunately, even the best laid plans can go awry when her attentions are needed elsewhere. It isnβt only the situation with her motherβs romance. Thereβs also the matter of a murder. Sheβs certain the police have it all well in hand when they identify a group of yeggs as the culprits.
Goldie has no plans to be involved in the investigation but complications arise causing her to question if the suspects are truly hard-boiled killers. To make matters worse, it appears all but certain that her brother is involved. Clearing him forces Goldie to prove to special agent Zebulon Masterson that the situation has all the wrong ingredients for murder.
Goldie scrambles to find a killer, keep members of her family out of trouble, and throw a party for all ages while remaining one step ahead of a special agent hard on her stylish heels.
