A woman whose death the family said was a blessing. The police wanted Carlisle to let it go, even after Carlisle discovered the woman had been murdered. But Carlisle is not someone to let a murderer go free.

While Carlisle focusses on the nursing home staff, Ken Bishop is focussed on killing a brother. But while he is doing that, someone kills one of his two remaining sisters, and then the last. And now, Ken Bishop is wondering who is doing his killing for him, and if he will be next.
