## Abstract The synthetic estrogen 17α‐ethynylestradiol (EE2) is a commonly used oral contraceptive that has been increasingly detected in sewage effluents. This study determined whether EE2 exposure adversely affected reproduction in sexually maturing male rainbow trout (__Oncorhynchus mykiss__).
