Technical Ceramics is a joint venture between SHELL, the international oil, chemicals and materials company, and HUTSCHENREUTHER, one of the biggest producers of ceramics in Europe. TECE is a well-known manufacturer of machine parts made of advanced ceramics (silicon carbide, silicon nitride, zirconia). Possible applications are: seal rings, bushes and sleeves, nozzles, valve components, special parts for process engineering, medicine techniques and milling devices. Advanced ceramics are tough, resistant against mechanical wear and chemical corrosion, withstand high temperatures up to 1500ยฐC and are lightweight compared with metals. TECE is used to manufacture to specific customer requirements. We design solutions together with our customers in close co-operation through all phases of development.
