โœฆ Synopsis


Novecare provides high-performance products and solutions to a wide range of industries including cosmetics, detergents, agrochemicals and oil, as well as industrial applications. Novecare's Home & Personal Care and Agro segments demonstrated resilience while Oilfield and Industrial applications experienced a slowdown. The enterprise demonstrated good pricing power, with price increases amounting to 8% overall, more than offsetting increases in raw material costs. The enterprise completed the acquisition of McIntyre [Focus on Surfactants, Apr 2009] -its integration has started well and is proceeding smoothly. Novecare is confident in its ability to achieve the expected synergies by 2011. Looking forward, Home & Personal Care and Agro activities should remain resilient whereas Oilfield activities continue to deteriorate and no recovery is perceivable so far in the Industrial segments
