Summary. The authors present a case of a neurinoma of the ]eft leg from a largeness X 2 cm, which has been diagnosed before surgery. The correct diagnose has been verified with the macroscopic examination at the operation and with the microscopic examination made later. The eliciting possibility of the trauma in the history is discussed and its connection with the appearance of the neurinoma. The trauma has not produced a cystic degeneration in the tumour in that case. So the trauma can be one of the etiologic factors in the development of the neurinoma.

Zusammenfassung. Die Verfasser machen einen noch vor der Operation diagnostizierten, X 2 cm groBen Fall eines Neurinoms am linken Untersehenkel bekannt. Die l~iehtigkeit der Diagnose wurde makroskopiseh und sparer dureh die mikroskopische Untersuchung bewiesen. In ihrem Fall erw~gen die Verfasser die MSgliehkeit der auslOsenden Wirkung des Traumas auf Grund des Zusammenhanges der Anamnese und der Erscheinung des Neurinoms. Das Trauma lSste keine eystische Degeneration in der Geschwulst aus, so dab das Trauma als ein ~tiologischer Faktor im Entstehen des Neurinoms eine Rolle spielen kSnnte.
