Jeg havde engang en god ven. Det var Julius. Han prøvede at slå mig ihjel, hver gang vi sås, men det lykkedes aldrig. Det blev nærmest en venskabelig joke.
Jeg ved ikke, hvad der var med ham. I vores barndom var det bare drengestreger, men så slog han sin mor og far ihjel, og det blev umærkeligt til en sygdom af en slags. Han myrdede under tragiske omstændigheder en engelsk millionøse, en argentinsk luder og Lolita, der var så ung, så blød, så impulsiv og ny.
Det kom virkelig som et dybt chok for mig, da han dræbte Miriam og Rasmus og Emma.
Jeg var tom. Julius var mit liv. Han ledte efter et kald, en højere mening med livet. Til sidst skar han sine ofres hoveder af og stillede dem et eller andet pynteligt sted i nærheden af liget. Så forsvandt han, og jeg blev desperat, men jeg fandt ham. Nu dør jeg lykkelig i mit blodrøde narrekostume. De bærer vores kald videre!
