Syria.
A war-torn, crumbling society on the verge of total chaos and collapse. In the midst of it all, an elite Fixer STA-F team has walked into an ambush and been taken captive. While the Council attempts to put together a proper rescue operation to get them out, Lawson is sent into the region to get eyes-on and locate the captives in order to coordinate the rescue effort.
But as any combat vet knows, the situation on the ground is a far cry from what it looks like back in the safety of the Council building. Lawson soon realizes thereβs more to the mission that meets the eye. Only time will tell whether he can rescue the teamβ¦or have to kill them all to keep the secret of the vampire race intact.
