When I first started this series of books, my ambition was to launch new talent, but with Gennaro, this isn’t quite the case – he’s already published many successful books and broadcast great TV shows. But nevertheless, with just a couple of Food Tube years under his belt, he is new to the digital world. His talent and passion had never been in question, but I wondered if he could smash it on this new online platform (before he came on board, I don’t think he even knew what YouTube was!). And the answer is a massive resounding yes! Gennaro’s energy and enthusiasm on camera – showing us how to cook incredible Italian food – has inspired the Food Tube community in a big way, he really is second to none.
