Supply shortages and boredom have taken their toll on the rebels, splintering the group. Not to mention a tough winter of brutal weather and light foliage. At least the roadblocks have grown quiet. Another government offensive to clear out the park seems unlikely.
So the rebels decide its time to make a return to the city, intent on reclaiming a foothold in Gatlinburg (and eventually beyond) for the remaining good citizens of the land.
Spring brings a return of greenery to the Smokies, but the rest of the world remains scarred. Its up to Zach and his prepper family to make a foothold back in civilization, if they can stay out of prison.
