## Abstract A novel procedure is presented for precipitation of highly dispersed silica from sodium metasilicate solution using sodium hydrogencarbonate. In the course of silica precipitation, hydrophobicity‐inducing agents were introduced to the reactor, including derivatives of saturated and unsa
