-Isotopic Ion-exchange stuches were camed out for MI?+ ions m the presence of Ba", SF', Cs' and Na' Ions, and for Na' tons m the presence of Ba" and Mn" tons, from 0 1 N chlonde soluhons Smgle Particle moactlve Tracer techmque was employed, and the exchanger Dowex 5OW-X8 was used The Nemst-Planck model, takmg mto account the dtffuslon processes both m the film and m the resm bead, was employed to analyse the data Resm-phase self-dlffuston coefficients obtamed from the lsotoplc exchanges m the homo-lomc systems, and hqmd-phase dtiuslon coefficients calculated from hnutmg iomc conductance data, were used The computer results agreed well with the expenmental data for the followmg cases (I), Na+ exchange m the presence of Ba" and Mn2+ Ions, (II), Mn*' Ions m the presence of Na+ Ions, and (m), Mn" exchange m the presence of Ba", S?+ and Cs' Ions at higher fractions of Mn*+ Ions However, lower values of dlffuslon coefficient of Mn2+ Ions could correlate the data with smaller fractions of Mn*' Ions It has been shown that resmphase dtiusion mechamsm of homovalent Ions under slmtlar environments 1s similar
