✦ Synopsis

We have calculated the total isotope effect coefficient f3 for an electron-phonon superconductor with a large coulomb pseudopotential/-l*(wE), where WE is the phonon energy. Results obtained using the Eliashberg equations are compared with results from the McMillan equation. With /-I*(WE) of the order of 0.5, we find solutions of the Eliashberg equations with small f3 and yet having Te's in the range of 100 K.
