✦ Synopsis
Isotherms of helium have been measured between 0 ° and 100°C and between 10 and 200 Amagat. It has been examined whether the isotherms in the lowest part of the density range could be used for the calibration of the platin thermometers against the helium gas scale and for the determination of the temperature of the absolute zeropoint. The experimental data have l~een developed in a series PV = A + Bd + Cd2 + Zd 3. Thermodynamical properties of helium have been calculated.
*) The pure gas was kindly put at our disposal by-tim directors of the Kamerlingh-Onnes-Laboratory.
