✦ Synopsis

Recent calculations of isospin breaking corrections to τ → ππν (τ2π) decays are summarized. Preliminary results on their impact on the determination of the 2π contribution to the muon anomalous magnetic moment and on the τ2π branching ratio are presented. * Partially supported by Conacyt (México).
