✦ Synopsis

A method for a simultaneous projection of particle number and isospin from a many-body state describing the BCS ground state of a mixed system of nucleons interacting among themselves through pairing forces is presented. Only the T=1 pairs as well is commented upon. The projected state is written in both particle and quasiparticle representations. Possible perspectives are sketched and commented upon.
