## Abstract A retrovirus isolated from experimentally induced sheep lung carcinoma (SPCTV) was propagated in chronically infected Himalayan tahr ovarian cells and in normal sheep lung cells. Follow‐up of infection of the cells with SPCTV showed the appearance of syncytium, plaque formation, partial
