โฆ Synopsis
A cardlac catheterization was performed in a 57-year-old man for post-infarction angina. A severe left flank pain developed following the angiography. Ultrasonography, computed tomography, and radionuclear scanning of the abdomen showed splenlc infarction. An isolated cholesterol atheroembolism of spleen from disrupted atheromatous plaques so far has not been reported.
