Electrophoretic comparison of isoenzymes of the members of Azotohncteraceac suggests that the genus Azotohuctc,r consists of a heterc~geneous group of bacteria. The new name Azonioiiotricliori mrrcroc'j.togr7i i e ~ for A:ortwias t~zucroc~'fogcries is supported by the present investigation which was proposed earlicr by numerical analysis study.
