The Association for Business Sponsorship of the Arts (ABSA) exists to promote and encourage Partnerships between the private sector and the arts. Now in its twentieth year ABSA has worked with thousands of businesses and arts organisat i t m in the UK and internationally. It is an independent organisation with charitable status and is funded principally through business membership and sponsorship. ABSA manages the National Heritage Arts Sponsorship Scheme (the Pairing Scheme) on behalf of the Department of National Heritage.
