In this Communication, the products in Tables and and the final products in Scheme 2 were incorrectly given. Reinvestigation of these reactions under several reaction conditions and careful analyses of the spectroscopic data of the products revealed that the products do not have SiÀSi bonds, but have SiÀOÀSi bonds. The authors apologize for the error, and are grateful to Professor Pannell and others for pointing this out.
