✦ Synopsis

Cross-coupling reaction of phenylmagnesium bromide with heteroaryl halides, in the presence of a catalytic amount of iron salts, is reported. Yields are moderate to good, and it is worth noting that this reaction has been applied to non-activate heteroaryl halides.
