The fundarnentul frequency remains aIruu,ct runstnnt over the tube for the variable rnngnetic fields. while the nmplitude decrensrs with increaying the field. The wcrvelength becomes longer nt the cnthode side of the magnetic coil nntl diortrr a t the anode side with incrensing the local rnngnetic field. The dependence of the wcivelength on tile mngnetic field is explained by the changes of the axial electric field in the iron-uniform magnetic field.
