The copolymerisation of styrene with divinylbenzene in the presence of a mixture of n-heptane and ethyl-hexanol was studied in order to prepare porous beads. The effect of n-heptanelethyl-hexanol ratio, dilution and crosslinking degree, on porosity, pore volume, apparent density, as well as uptake c
