โฆ Synopsis
We report on preliminary data of the new coexisting phases in the tetrahydrofuran/H 2 O/KCl solution after a certain threshold value of concentration of ions is trespassed ($4 ร 10 ร4 mole fraction of KCl in H 2 O). Composition of the discovered phases has been determined by FTIR spectroscopy using Beer-law procedure on H 2 O bending mode (dOH at 1647 cm ร1 ). The results are interpreted in terms of ions induced hypercritical point.

Raman spectra of anthracene mono-and di-negative ions in tetrahydrofuran solution were obtained by Ile-Ne and Ar+ laser exciting lines. In addition to some frequency shifts from neutral anthracene, remarkable enhancement of intensities by the resonance Raman effect was observed for many aromatic rin
