The results obtained in previous experiments in rats with a short-term inhibition of thyroid function following a single administration of thyroid-blocking agent (thiocyanate) and its subsequent increase due to the increased thyrotropic activity increase of hypothalamo-pituitary system were thus simulated and a satisfactory fit between the experimental and simulated data was obtained.
