The positive inotropic effects of thyroid hormone in the heart, increased force and velocity of contraction have been mostly attributed to modulation of myosin ATPase isoenzymes (V1, V2 and V3), and sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca2+ pumping activity. In addition, we have suggested that the effects on vent
