ZnO nanorods were prepared via a simple hydrothermal oxidization process on zinc substrate. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectrum (EDS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and photoluminescence (PL) spectrum were used to characterize the na
