No¨el configurations of planar power combiners, which use microstrip patch transmit arrays to combine power from microwa¨e transistor amplifiers, are presented. In¨estigations are performed into optimal spacing between acti¨e transmit arrays and passi¨e illuminating r intercepting arrays to obtain the maximum power-combining efficiency.
