โœฆ Synopsis


The main desalination research and development programs and the demand for fresh water on the Spanish coasts are outlined. The experimental plants of the Koncloa (Madrid) (MSF, vapor compression, reverse osmosis and others) and their computer programs are described as are also the pilot plants of Lanzarote (Canary Islands). The close collaboration between private enterprise and the Spanish Government is discussed.
