β¦ Synopsis
E cient intracavity second-harmonic generation (SHG) has been realized in a new Li-doped GdCa 4O(BO 3) 3 (GdCOB) crystal. 2:55 W CW SHG output power was obtained with an optical conversion e ciency of 19.6%, while the e ective intracavity SHG e ciency was determined to be 44%. Compared to that of undoped GdCOB crystal, the e ective SHG e ciency of the Li-doped GdCOB crystal was found to increase by 12.5%.

Intracavity type-I sum-frequency mixing of 1:06 m and 532 nm with a (Γ; ') = (106 β’ ; 77:2 β’ )-cut YCOB crystal was performed in a compact laser-diode-pumped solid-state laser. Three type-II phase-matching KTP crystals with di erent length were used to generate 532 nm light by frequency-doubling of
A new type of lithium rare earth oxyborate of formula Li 2 Ln 5 O 4 (BO 3 ) 3 (Ln β«Ψβ¬ Yb, Lu) has been discovered in the ternary phase diagrams Li 2 O+Ln 2 O 3 +B 2 O 3 . Single crystals of Li 2 Yb 5 O 4 (BO 3 ) 3 were grown by the 6ux method. The structure of this oxyborate was solved from a data c
Trigonal Na 3 Li(MoO 4 ) 2 β’6H 2 O was found to be an attractive, simultaneously Ο (2) -and Ο (3) -active nonlinear optical crystal. We investigated its basic optical properties and observed several nonlinear effects, namely many-phonon SRS, almost twooctave Stokes and anti-Stokes lasing combs, SHG,
