The role of E × B flow shear in reducing turbulent transport in the edge region of a tokamak is investigated using 3D nonlinear global simulations. Transport reduction is found to be due to both a decrease of fluctuation amplitudes as well as a change in their relative phase. A scaling of the turbul
## Abstract Numerical simulation of turbulent MHD dynamics of beryllium seeded plasmas at the edge of tokamaks is performed. The model is based on the 4‐fluid {__∅︁, n, p~e~, p~i~__ } reduced nonlinear Braginsky's MHD equations. Neutral hydrogen flow from the wall is described with a diffusion mode
