✦ Synopsis
The electron paramagnetic resonamx absorption spectrum of the triplet state cf pyrene-d,,, in ffuorene has been investigated in the temperature range 130-300 K-Rates of triplet state signal decays after cessation of iUumination have been determined. lXe resuits have been interpreted in terms of a particular model of energy transfer processes in this crystal. The impurity thermal energy Ievel was obtained from the temperature dependent rate constants of the pyrened 0 triplet state. It is infer:ed that impurities pIay a dominant roIe in the triplet-state energy transfer mechanism in this crystal system.
