Abstract

The angular distributions of annihilation quanta (AD) coming from the two‐photon annihilation of a positron‐electron pair are measured for V~0.96~Fe~0.04~H~x~ alloys. The results are discussed in view of application to the description of the electronic structure of the system under consideration within the rigid band approximation. It is found that the explanation of results obtained requires the assumption of d‐like electron states in the vicinity of the Fermi energy capable to be occupied, beginning from a certain concentration of (4s + 3d)‐like electrons.
