✦ Synopsis

Surface alpha radioactivity of lead after surface rescraping increases with time approximately exponentially, with a relaxation time of a few days. Increment of the alpha radioactivity is comparable with initial radioactivity after rescraping. Hypothesis of the atomic mechanism of this effect is presented.
